This year's
workshop will be held on Friday, February 17
from 5:30 – 8:30pm. I will teach the effective,
economic movement of powerful, intrinsic force
of Wu Style Push Hand technique. This magical
yet practical collection of superior push hand
techniques is rarely seen in public practice. It
will include multiple applications of Wu's
thirteen push hand manipulations. Additionally,
I will teach Great Grand Master Ma's “wrapping
the root”: the special foot manipulations in
push hands for hooking, blocking, trapping,
stamping, etc. It is a jewel of Wu's Tai Chi
legacy. We can teach only 50 students so please
register early to assure your place. The cost is
$250 per person. Pa Kua and My Jhong students
will benefit from these special sticky hand
techniques for sparring in crowded situations.
