Fu School 6959 Arapaho Road # 589 Dallas, TX 75248 January 7, 2008
Dear Students, Parents and Friends, In the blink of an eye, 2007 has moved on. Looking back, there have been many wonderful things happen for our school in the past year. We won the championship of the first Dragon Boat Race in Dallas. We participated in the Wu Tai Chi event in China and we have many performers and champions in tournaments. In 2008, the Chinese New Year of the Rat will be celebrated by our school on February 16 at Maxim’s, the largest restaurant in Chinatown with an 8-course round of gourmet dishes. There will be a Sifu’s demo from different schools across the U.S. along with our very own Team White Leopard and our future members of the team and champions from our children’s class. Our fantastic Dragon and Lion Dances will also be performed to bring in the New Year of the Rat. As with any successful event, we need your support and participation. With limited seating, please buy your tickets early from Mrs. Lee.
This
year the Tai Chi
workshop will be held on Friday, February 15 from 5:30 – 8:30
p.m. I will teach the Principles of the 37 Postures of Tai Chi
and connecting the bridge of ward off, rising, roll back, press and
squeeze energy to achieve stick, adhesive, linking and following.
This way, it can used for free sparring instead of just push
